About Us
Encounterwithtruth.com is not just an another Christian website; it began as a God-given burden to bring God's truth into a world filled with conflicting messages about what is true. We read in 2 Timothy 4:3 "For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear". The purpose of the messages and articles on this website is to bring forth God's word without compromise. Our prayer is that everyone may have an encounter and a personal relationship with the real truth, Jesus Christ, and that His kingdom would be established through all that we do.
“Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord Almighty” (Zechariah 4:6).
Vision
We are dedicated in proclaiming the truth and building up the Church, which is the body of Christ.
Mission
· Endeavoring in all that we do so that everyone may encounter the truth.
· Bringing glory to God in all that we do.
· Equipping individuals to grow in their faith and apply the truth into their daily lives.
· Enhancing fellowship, communication and building relationships within the Christian community.
· Encouraging and supporting those who have spiritual, emotional, physical or financial needs.
Statement of Faith
We believe that there is one God, existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Bible was originally written and inspired of God, hence, it constitutes as the only infallible guide for faith and practice.
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, death on the cross to provide for our redemption, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, present ministry of intercession for us, and His return to earth in power and glory.
We believe in the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit to perform the miracle of a new birth in an unbeliever and to dwell in the believer, enabling him/her to live a godly life.
We believe that man was created in the image of God, but sin alienated him from God. That alienation can only be removed through faith by accepting God's gift of salvation which was made possible by Christ's death.
